So as I previously mentioned in my first post the whole gardening project began because of my amazing Grandfather. On memorial day we took all the kids up to the cemetery to pay our respects. The reason I include this picture on the gardening blog is that along with the beautiful flowers we also brought a single stalk of corn as well. I would imagine that for most people visiting a cemetary and seeing a pot with a stalk of corn in it may be out of place. However, anyone that knew my Grandpa would agree that he would have loved it, and that it was right at home among the roses and daisies.
